Description

Clear Toxin & Restore Harmony is ideal herbal treatment for mild to severe cold-and-flu-type illnesses. It prevents disease progression and chronicity, supports reduction of fever, fatigue, and inflammation, and calms symptoms in general.

Ingredients: gan cao (licorice root), xing ren (bitter apricot seed), shi gao (gypsum), gui zhi (cinnamon twig), ze xie (water plantain rhizome), zhu ling (sclerotum polypore), bai zhu (white atractylodis rhizome), chai hu (bupleurum root), huang qin (Chinese skullcap root), ban xia (pinellia rhizome), sheng jiang* (fresh ginger; not included- you add), zi wan (aster root), kuan dong hua (coltsfoot flower), she gan (belamcanda rhizome), xi xin (Chinese wild ginger) or bai zhi (Dahurian angelica), shan yao (Chinese wild yam), zhi shi (immature bitter orange), chen pi (tangerine peel), huo xiang (patchouli herb).

This product comes in granules (freeze-dried powdered herbal extract), OR bags of dried herbs for decoction (brew).  Directions for administering the herbs are included in your order.

BREW
Traditionally called decoctions, brew formulas come in loose raw herb form. Each bag of dried herbs makes approximately 8 cups of strong medicinal tea when following our decoction making instructions.

How to make a decoction: Using a stainless steel or glass pot, combine one bag of herbs and 9 cups cold water. Soak the herbs for 30 minutes. Bring herbs to a boil on high, then lower heat and simmer covered for 90 minutes. Add 3-4 slices fresh ginger. Strain the liquid into a large container, and store in a glass container in the refrigerator. Drink warm or cool. Each bag lasts 2-3 days depending on dose.

Prevention: 1 cup / 1x / day
Standard Treatment Dose: 1 cup / 2x / day
In cases of acute or severe illness: 1 cup / 3-4 x / day is most effective

GRANULES
Granules are powdered freeze-dried herbal extracts. There is no cooking involved, simply stir a teaspoon into the liquid of your choice (water, juice or tea). 100 grams lasts 6-9 days depending on dose.

Prevention: 1 teaspoon (approximately 4 grams) / 2x / day
Mild to moderate symptoms (standard dose): 1 tsp / 2x / day
Acute or severe symptoms: 1 tsp / 3-4x / day
