Description

Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale) is a wild food and traditional herb that has been used as a detoxifying tonic since ancient times.  Historically it has been used in Chinese, Arabic, and European herbal traditions as a bitter digestive stimulant and anti-inflammatory remedy.

Dandelion has affinity for the liver and gallbladder, kidneys, stomach, and breasts, so its effects are strongest in those areas.  It is a blood and lymph cleanser and thus improves skin conditions.  It has demonstrable anti-cancer effects, stabilizes blood sugar, and contains a wide array of vitamins and minerals.
