Marshmallow GI Repair

Description

Marshmallow GI Repair is a brew (decoction) formula that supports gastro-intestinal membrane  repair.  It soothes ulcerations, promotes sealing and healing of leaky gut, and helps regulate bowel movements.  

The lead herb, marshmallow root (Althea officinalis)  contains mucilage that creates a protective layer of tissue on the lining of the digestive tract.  Research also shows that it stimulates the cells that support tissue regeneration.

This formula is offered only as a brew because the coating action of drinking the brew tea is key to how these herbs function best to support gastrointestinal tract healing.

 

 Brew Ingredients & Dosage:

Marshmallow, licorice, comfrey root, neem, olive leaf, aloe vera, betel nut, saussurea, Chinese coptis, oregon grape root.

Recommended Dosage:  1 cup / 2-3x / day

 

Recommendations:

–       For  treatment of candida yeast, bacterial, or other gut-based infections, take with Coptis Neem GI Reset (available as a tincture).

– For added antimicrobial action, and if taking herbs orally is challenging, take with Stealthy Suppositories.
