Mad-Dog Skullcap

Description

Scutellaria lateriflora, also known as Mad Dog, Blue or American  Skullcap, is a plant native to North America that has been used for centuries in traditional medicine. It is known for its calming and anti-inflammatory properties, and it has been used to treat a variety of conditions such as anxiety, insomnia, and depression. 

It is considered a nervous system toner, helping to balance mood and stabilize an over-stressed nervous system.  Studies suggest that the extract of Scutellaria lateriflora helps reduce inflammation, improve cognitive function and reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression.

This tincture was made from herb that was wild-harvested with care from our clinic garden, then tinctured fresh at the height of harvest season.  Supplies are limited.

Ingredients:

Scutellaria lateriflora, distilled water, and certified organic cane alcohol.

Recommended Dose: 

1-3 ml / 2x / day in 2 oz water.
