Description
Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) is an Ayurvedic herb that has been used for thousands of years as a potent tonic and adaptogen. In particular, ashwagandha supports energy and concentration when under stress. At the same time it does not overstimulate the nervous system, and actually supports deep sleep and reduces anxiety.
Also known as Indian ginseng, ashwagandha is recommended for fatigue, tension and anxiety, brain and nervous system health, and fertility support.
