Red clover (Trifolium pratense) has a long history of use as an important herbal tonic for female reproductive health, bone strength, and as a blood purifier.
Particularly as women reach menopause and estrogen levels decline, red clover’s phytoestrogens are an important source of weak-acting estrogen that safely supports bone mineral density and lowers osteopenia and osteoporosis risk.
Red clover’s high isoflavone content and blood cleansing properties also make it an excellent choice for those experiencing hot flashes, night sweats, vaginal dryness, hair thinning, pimples and skin eruptions, or a general sense of sluggishness and toxicity.
Due to its supportive effects on the liver, red clover also supports cholesterol balance, helping to raise HDL while lowering LDL cholesterol.
This tincture was made from herb that was grown with care in our clinic garden, then tinctured fresh at the height of harvest season. Supplies are limited.
Trifolium pratense aerial parts, and certified organic cane alcohol.
1-3 ml / 2x / day in 2 oz water.
