Description

Stinging nettle (Urtica dioica) is a plant that has been used for centuries as a medicinal herb.  Stinging nettle is packed with nutrients, including vitamins A and C, iron, potassium, calcium, magnesium and phosphorus. Additionally, it contains compounds that are beneficial to the body such as flavonoids, which are antioxidants that help protect cells from damage.

The benefits of stinging nettle include improved digestion due to its high fiber content; relief from allergies due to its anti-inflammatory properties; improved circulation due to its iron content; and improved kidney function due to its diuretic effect. Additionally, stinging nettle tincture can be used topically for skin conditions such as eczema or psoriasis.
